| From Ampleforth, headed south on a footpath to a large fish pond on the edge of Park Wood. Followed a track into the wood to two smaller fish ponds. Turned south-west on a footpath that passed a house and then turned off the track to a road junction. West up the road, turning north on a footpath to Low Lion Lodge. From there a footpath lead north-east back to Ampleforth. Took a footpath the skirted the western edge of the village and walked back to the starting point on the road. 7 miles approx. |
