From the Beggar's Bridge at Glasdale, north by road and byway to Thornhill Farm. West on a bridleway past Hall Park, crossing the road to a footpath down to the railway. Under the railway and then along the river back into Glaisdale. Headed south-west out of the village on a footpath, crossing the road and taking a bridleway to Low Gill Beck Farm. A footpath then lead north-east through woods to another road. Took a footpath to Lodge Hill and Butter Park, dropping down the hill into Delves. A bridleway then lead north-west through East Arnecliff Wood back to Beggar's Bridge. 10 miles approx.

 | 18th Oct 2009 | Walk, Embsay, Draughton and Skipton 
From Embsay, headed south on a bridleway to a road, continuing south-east on a footpath over the railway and A59 into Draughton. East on a bridleway to Hawpike Farm before turning south on a footpath past Sanfitt and Cross Bank to the road. West on a footpath joining a bridleway running north-east. The bridleway then turned west into Skipton, and roads lead back to Embsay. 13.5 miles approx.

 | 4th Oct 2009 | Walk, Huggate and North Dalton 
Starting from a lay-by at SE877542, headed east on the Minster Way to North Dalton, turning north on a bridleway. West on a bridleway past Haywold Farm before turning north on a footpath. Passed Freshlands farm, turning west on a footpath to Foxcovert Farm and on to Huggate. Returned south to the starting point on the road. 12.5 miles approx.

 | 27th Sep 2009 | Walk, Chop Gate and Bilsdale Mast
Starting from the car park at Chop Gate, followed the beck south before climbing up onto the moor to the foot of Bilsdale mast. From there a track lead north, winding across the moor to Head House. The track then lead north, taking a turn to the south-east past Green Howe and Cock Howe before turning north-east on a bridleway and then a footpath back to Chop Gate. 8.5 miles approx.

Starting from Cardigan, walked the Pembrokeshire coast path to Amroth and then walked to Kilgetty station. 196 miles approx.

 | 30th Aug 2009 | Walk, Hutton-le-Hole and Spaunton Moor
From the car park north of Hutton-le-Hole, north on a footpath to join the road. Continued north on the road for a short distance before turning south-east on a track to Ana Cross. The track then swung south to a bridleway to Spaunton. Turned west on a footpath to join a road and then south-west on another footpath into Hutton-le-Hole. 7.5 miles approx.

 | 23rd Aug 2009 | Walk, Scaling Dam and Runswick Bay
Starting from the car park at Scaling Dam, skirted the southern edge of the dam before heading south on a footpath, swinging south-east and then north-east to Redmire Farm. Continued north-east over Pearson's Rigg, crossing the main road and down the Ugthorpe Road. Turned north by the windmill on a footpath to Mickleby, continuing north along the road to another northerly footpath to join the Cleveland way on Runswick Sands. Into Runswick and then along the road to Hinderwell. A footpath lead south to Newton Mulgrave, followed by a byway south. Turned west on a bridleway to Roxby Low Moor and from there a byway lead back to the car park. 15 miles approx.

 | 17th Aug 2009 | Walk, Eglingham to Alnwick
From Eglingham, a bridleway lead south-east, following Eglingham Burn to a road. North on the road a short distance and then east on a footpath through Shipley and on to the B6346. At this point the plan had been to walk through Hulne Park, but all entrances were closed so a long trudge down the B6346 into Alnwick was the only option. Took a footpath along the northern bank of the River Aln, under the A1 before crossing the river to joining a track back under the A1 and back into Alnwick. 10 miles approx.

 | 16th Aug 2009 | Walk, Alwinton
From Alwinton, headed north along Clennel Street as it skirted the western edge of Kidland Forest, and eventually though the forest to reach Usway Burn. Forded the burn (the bridge was out) and headed south on a bridleway that followed the burn to Shillmoor before swinging south-east to join the road back to Alwinton. 13.5 miles approx.

Starting from the picnic site, walked along the "Four Crags" route around the wood. 9.5 miles approx.
