Starting from Edale, north along a footpath up Grinds Brook. Stayed on the footpath as it swung across the Kinder plateau to join the Pennine Way at Kinder Downfall. Returned to Edale via the Pennine Way. 10 miles approx.

Starting from Ravenscar, south along the coast to Cloughton Wyke, turning inland to Cloughton. North along a footpath to the Hulleys and Hayburn Beck Farm to Staintondale. Joined the path of Whitby to Scarborough railway back to Ravenscar. 12 miles approx.

Starting from Bishop Wilton, east on a footpath to Deep Dale. South-east down the Roman road, continuing on a bridleway to join the Minster Way. followed the way back to Bishop Wilton, though Millington and Great Givendale. 10 miles approx.

Walked the Cumbria Way the opposite way to normal, from Carlisle to Ulverston with stops at Caldbeck, Keswick, Great Langdale and Coniston. 74 miles approx.

Starting from the car park at NZ591110, headed north-east to join the Cleveland Way near Highcliffe Farm. Followed the Way into Hutton Village, turning south-west on a footpath to Roseberry Topping, continuing south-west to cross the road near Great Ayton. A bridleway then lead south-east to Captain Cook's Monument. Turned north to return to the car park on the Cleveland Way. 8.5 miles approx.

Starting from Welburn, north on a bridleway turning east into Pretty Wood. Followed the Centenary Way to Low Gaterly, then taking a bridleway to Westerdale and across the A64 to High Hutton. Followed the road to Low Hutton before taking a footpath through Huttons Bank Wood back to the A64. Crossed the road and followed a track to Hutton Hill. From there a footpath lead back to Welburn. 8 miles approx.

Starting from the station car park at Levisham, followed a bridleway south on the eastern side of the valley to Farwath. Continued south on a track to Little Park Wood, picking up a footpath into Pickering. Crossed the railway and turned north on a footpath to Blansby Farm, continuing on the High Blansby where a footpath followed the railway back to Levisham Station. 13.5 miles approx.

Starting from the car park at NZ156009, north on a bridleway and then a footpath to High Coalsgarth. Turned north-east on another bridleway to Hartforth. South-east on a footpath to Gilling West, continuing along Gilling Beck to Skeeby. West along the road, turning south on a bridleway to Easby. Followed the River Swale west through Richmond back to the car park. 13 miles approx.

Starting from Thixendale, south on the Wolds Way, continuing south on a footpath to Wayhram. Turned west on a footpath to the Roman road. South-east on the road before turning west again through Deep Dale and across a road before turning north to cross the A166 at the top of Garrowby Hill, continuing north on a byway to Kirby Underdale and Woodley Farm. Turned east through Thixendale Grange to return to Thixendale. 12 miles approx.

Starting from the car park at SE036278, headed south on the Calderdale Way leaving the way to join a footpath running north-west to Dimmin Dale. A bridleway then lead west to a track on the outskirts of Midgehole. North on the track before turning east across the moor. Crossed the moor and continue east across the valley and back onto the moor, past Rocking Stone. Turned south-east past Cold Edge Dams to rejoin the Calderdale Way back to the car park. 10 miles approx.
